One day workshops

A selection of themed one day workshops are offered throughout the year at interesting venues. New venues are added periodically.

One day workshops are ideal for students who are looking to try out painting new and different subjects in the plant world that they may not have tried before, and those who are new to botanical illustration who would like to try a ‘taster’ in botanical drawing and painting, or are considering enrolling onto a longer course. All abilities are welcome and your tuition will be tailored to suit your individual ability and pace of learning.

Workshops comprise both theory and practical sessions with an emphasis on observational drawing and painting, as well as tutor demos and plenty of help and advice, plus an introduction to botany. Refreshments are provided throughout the day, and lunch is included at some venues.

Early booking is advised as one day workshops are popular. Please follow the booking information provided for each listed workshop.

One day workshops at Mannings Heath will be temporarily relocated to an alternative venue whilst building works occur during 2023.
