Throughout her botanical painting career, Leigh Ann has studied and painted many species in the plant and fungi kingdoms. A large number of her paintings have been produced as private commissions and contributions to several florilegia and painted for themed (including juried) exhibitions around the world.

Using her skill and experience built up over nearly two decades, Leigh Ann has developed an ability to paint in both a traditional style and a more, contemporary style, depending on the objective of each painting. Her versatility has led her to paint a diverse range of subjects, from a humble acorn and tiny wild flowers, to much larger, floriferous, or complex species such as callistemon and pineapples; Leigh Ann is happy painting any subject.

The majority of Leigh Ann’s paintings are displayed in the galleries here which have been divided into subject matter groups for ease of viewing. Additional work painted for the Hampton Court Palace Florilegium Society can be viewed at Leigh Ann Gale – Hampton Court Palace Florilegium Society.

We hope you enjoy viewing the work in the galleries. If you would like more information about any of the paintings, please contact Leigh Ann. A number of original paintings and prints are available for purchase in the Shop.
