Suitable for beginners and improvers
Learning to draw botanically is a fundamental skill for producing all botanical illustrations. This two day course will introduce beginners to some common methodologies for accurate, detailed drawing, and help improvers to build on their skills – including some useful and clever tricks you may not have considered previously. Areas of study will include observational technique, accurate graphite line and tonal work, foreshortening, and depicting botanical characteristics. This course is ideal for those who may be considering enrolling onto longer botanical art courses.

Students are welcome to continue working in the studio until 4pm on Day 1
