This relaxing, one day botanical painting workshop is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the glorious summer colour and blooms of the beautiful herbaceous borders at Parham House & Gardens.

The gardens will provide a broad variety of blooms for you to study and with plenty of help and guidance from your tutor Leigh Ann, you will produce a small, botanical painting to be proud of by the end of the day.

You will be led through several stages to produce your illustration, including accurate initial drawings which you will then transfer to specialist watercolour paper before painting. Using watercolours, Leigh Ann will demonstrate some fundamental painting techniques for you to try out to bring your illustration to life.

The workshop is suitable for all abilities and will allow you to work at your own pace throughout the day.
