One day workshops £49 per person.
Spring, Summer and Autumn workshops and classes start at 10am and finish at 3.30pm.
Winter workshops and classes start at 9.30am and finish at 3.00pm
Coffee on arrival and a light lunch included.
FRUITS & FLOWERS OF THE ROSACEAE FAMILY
Suitable for all abilities
This large family boasts many beautiful cultivated and wild flowering species as well as numerous edibles that we enjoy throughout the summer. We will make several studies of examples of fruits and flowers in pencil before composing and painting an illustration. There will be some study of the botany of this family during the workshop.

This is a wonderful opportunity to explore and study wildflowers of the Herbals. You will have the chance to learn about, draw and paint some of the wildflowers and herbs growing in the Museum’s gardens that were traditionally used to treat common ailments. Enjoy creating realistic botanical illustrations by drawing and painting with precision and accuracy. This course is suitable for all abilities and allows you to work at your own pace with plenty of help and guidance from your tutor.
