BOTANICAL DRAWING
Suitable for all abilities
Botanical Drawing workshops are ideal as a foundation for those considering enrolment onto a longer course or who would like to make general improvements to their botanical drawing techniques. Consider a number of fundamental skills, including observational study, the effect of light on a 3D structure and adding details such as textures and veins.

THE COLOURS OF AUTUMN
Suitable for all abilities
Make the most of the array of autumn colour before the onset of winter. Enjoy creating a seasonal painting of colourful leaves, fruits and berries using watercolours or coloured pencils.

The course is about learning to create botanical illustrations of a variety of summer blooms, including roses, summer annuals and more complex structures such as chrysanthemums. There will be an emphasis on drawing with precision and accuracy, including observational drawing of botanical structures, the science of botany, composition skills, and using watercolour painting techniques suitable for botanical illustration.
