Suitable for all abilities
Observe the beauty of fresh new growth of Spring buds and shoots. Create the almost unbelievable vibrant ‘greens’ of tender young leaves and the bright vivid colours of new flower buds.

Create striking compositions of these classic spring flowers, using their bold shapes and bright colours. These subjects are ideal for studying the anatomy of large flowers and their botanical structures.

An opportunity to study, draw and paint in more close detail some of our common wild flowers, the ‘mother’ plants of many well known cultivars in our gardens.

This is a wonderful opportunity to explore and study wild flowers of the Herbals. You will have the opportunity to learn about, draw and paint some of the wild species growing in the gardens at the museum, when historically, wild flowers and herbs were used to treat many types of ailments. Enjoy creating realistic botanical illustrations by drawing and painting with precision and accuracy with plenty of help and guidance from your tutor. This course is suitable for all abilities and allows you the opportunity to work at your own pace with help and guidance from your tutor.
